In algebra’s class, I would love to have an “A” but, then again who wouldn’t? Everyone wants an “A” and everyone can say that but, do they really deserve it? I personally believe that I deserve an “A” because I do all my work. I am a very determined and focused student. Yes, there are times where I slack off and I talk way too much, but I get back on track.
Right now, I have a “B”. I will stay in at lunch and talk to the teacher to see if there is any extra credit work I can do. All my work is done, maybe sometimes it not an “A’s” quality worth of work, but it’s done and I’m willing to re-do it.
This strategy has worked for me in the past.
If you’re determined and willing to put in the effort the result will show. Likewise in math, “whatever is the income, that’s the outcome you will get”. Effort is the number one priority in anything any person wants to do. Besides this class, I’m not doing the best in my other classes. It’s coming towards the end of the year and I’m getting on track. I’ve been staying after school and just grinding out my assignments at home. Grinding as in doing my work. I know I’m not at the top, or even where I would like to be; but I can guarantee that I’m getting there.
My attitude towards school has always been this way. What way? The way of never getting lower than a “C” and very focused. If I put in the effort I know I can get straight A’s. I’m very capable of doing it because I’ve done it before and I’m willing to do that again. If this is your attitude, then you can do the same thing. Put forth the effort and it will be evident in the grades you get.
